1. Who you are contracting with

The Archive ("the Service") is provided by ArchiveHub ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age.

2. The Service

The Archive is a personal record-keeping app for logging life and household events — health visits, gifts, trips, vehicle and home maintenance, books, donations, volunteering, and similar — with calendar views, reports, and optional sharing with a household member you invite. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive, including spam;
• upload content that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• interfere with security — no malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

You are responsible for the content you upload, for having the rights to it, and for anything done under your account. Keep your credentials confidential and your account details accurate. If you record information about other people (family members, pets, guests), you are responsible for doing so lawfully.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you and the household members you invite. Some optional features send content you choose (for example, a book cover photo) to an AI provider to extract details; results may be inaccurate and you should check them.

5. Our intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service and all intellectual property in it, including software, design, documentation, and branding. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it; we may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The Archive is a record-keeping tool, not medical, financial, legal, or tax advice.

7. Payment and subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our money-back guarantee.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. When access ends you may export your records before deletion; after a reasonable wind-down period your data may be deleted.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, and our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these terms.

10. General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and disputes will be heard by its courts, unless mandatory local law gives you other rights. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it.
